Running Routes and Boston Bridges

We typically run along the Charles river. We meet at the Esplanade (south bank of the river) and start our runs by going west towards Watertown / Waltham. There are several opportunities to cross the Charles’ (e.g., on Cambridge St., N. Harvard St., or the Eliot bridge) and run back to the starting point on the north bank. How can I get to the Esplanade?

Public transportation is a convenient option to join us at the Charles River Esplanade. The Fairfield Street Footbridge is located in Back Bay and is just 12 min away (0.5 mi) from Copley MBTA Station (Green line) or Back Bay MBTA Station (Orange / Rail). For more info, check out the MBTA website.
